Lost Friends

This is a creative non-fiction that can be found in Chicken Soup’s: What I Learned from the Cat, published September 2009, about the loss of a beloved pet and dealing with grief only to realize that the memory of lost friends are captured in the hearts of those who live on.

My Lady

A creative non-fiction that I wrote about a stray dog that I nursed back to health when I was a young girl. It is a heart felt story about my first dog and can be found in Chicken Soup for the Child's Soul, published August of 2007.

Near the Edge

A creative non-fiction about a troubled teen that is almost overcome by the grief and circumstances of her life but is saved at the last minute. It can be found in True Volume 2, published August of 2007.
